Which is the most popular room in the Tokyo Disney Resort hotels right now?
It’s the Beauty and the Beast Room at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel.
A new attraction, the Enchanted tale of Beauty and the Beast, had just opened at Tokyo Disneyland on September 28, 2020.
The rooms’ interior design is based on famous scenes from the movies, and if you’re a Disney fan, you’ll want to stay there at least once.
In this article, I will share about the Beauty and the Beast Room at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel. I’ve also written about reservations and prices, so check it out until the end.
What is the Beauty and the Beast Room?
The Character Rooms at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel are themed after popular movie characters.
The current character rooms are as follows.

- Alice in Wonderland
- Beauty and the Beast
- Cinderella
The Beauty and the Beast Room is the most popular of all the character rooms. Since the attraction “Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast” opened in Tokyo Disneyland last year, more and more people want to stay there.
Where is the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel?
Tokyo Disneyland Hotel is located right in front of Tokyo Disneyland, just a minute’s walk away. It’s the most convenient place to visit Tokyo Disneyland.

Of the character rooms, only the Beauty and the Beast room has a twin and triple beds. If you add a bed, up to four people can stay in the room.
Review
Now I’ll review the Beauty and the Beast room I stayed in.
Do you remember the scene when Belle, who loves to read, first sees the library in the castle? You can experience the same emotions as Belle.
The bedroom reminds me of the dance scene in the movie where my favorite music, “Beauty and the Beast,” is played.

There is no difference in amenities between character rooms and standard rooms.
The Disneyland Hotel also has amenities for children. I love that Disney Hotels are child-friendly.

Tokyo Disneyland Hotel is right in front of Tokyo Disneyland. You would expect to have a view of the park when you stay there, right? However, most of the character rooms are located on the Hotel’s Main entrance side (the opposite side of the park), so the view is not great. It’s okay though because the rooms are nice.
The room we stayed in was one of the few that was on the park-side. If we looked hard enough, we could see the volcano of Tokyo DisneySea and the building of Space Mountain of Tokyo Disneyland in the distance.
Price

Disney hotels show the room charge (per room rate), not the price per person. MiraCosta has many different types of rooms, so I’ve limited the comparison to one on each side.
In comparison, the cheapness of the Celebration Hotel stands out.

I compared the cost to the most popular of all the Disney hotels, the Hotel MiraCosta!
I pitted the Hotel MiraCosta’s park-side front rooms against the Beauty and the Beast rooms regarding price per unit area.

The Beauty and the Beast Room at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel was a better deal per unit area.
When I was trying to decide between the Beauty and the Beast room and the Hotel MiraCosta, this logic made sense to me!
Disneyland hotel or Disney Ambassador hotel

The Disney Ambassador Hotel also has character rooms, but I think it’s the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel that the kids will love.
The character rooms at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel are designed to represent famous scenes in an easy-to-understand way, so children can feel like they are characters in a movie.
Even as an adult, I remember my heart rate going up in the Beauty and the Beast room.
The Ambassador Hotel and the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel have different target characters, so I can’t compare them under the same conditions. Still, I can enjoy the rooms themselves at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel.
Reservation
You can book the Beauty and the Beast Room at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel through Agoda, Expedia, or Tokyo Disney Resort Online Reservations & Tickets. Either way, the early bird gets the worm, so you’d better make your reservation as soon as there are rooms available.
Both methods have their merits, but travel sites tend to sell out first. When I couldn’t find any available rooms on travel websites, I booked them on the official website. If you book through the official website, you can get special offers.

Restaurant Reservations
As a special offer for guests, you can make restaurant reservations earlier than usual.
- No overnight stay; 8:00 a.m. one month in advance to 8:59 p.m. the day before
- With overnight stay; from 11:00 a.m. on the same day two months before the date of stay
If you make your hotel reservation on the official website, you can get to the restaurant one month earlier than the general guests.
All Priority Seating restaurants, not just the ones in the hotel you’re staying at, are eligible for reservations.
I used my guest privileges to book the Afternoon Tea at Dreamers Lounge and BellaVista Lounge, which are difficult to reserve.
Early Entry Tickets
Disney hotel guests can buy early entry tickets to enter the Tokyo Disney Sea earlier than usual.

- Price: 3,000 yen per ticket

The earliest the general guests can get in is 8:30 a.m., so that means we’ll only be able to get in 30 minutes early. But when Fantasy Springs opens, Early Entry Tickets will be in effect.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation fees for Tokyo Disneyland Hotel are as follows.
- 14 to 8 days before; $91.5 per room
- 7 to 2 days before; $182.9 per room
- The day before and the day of; $274.4 per room
You don’t have to pay a cancellation fee until 15 days before.
Summary
If you’ve seen the movie even once, the Beauty and the Beast Room at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel is a must.
The interior looks like a famous scene from a movie, and you will feel special. I think it would be a wonderful memory to stay there on your birthday or anniversary.
