I have been continuing my review of the Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, but this is the last one.
In Part 5, I would like to introduce the stores in the Toy Story Hotel.
Shopping at the Toy Story Hotel in Tokyo Disney Resort
Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel has two different stores.
- Gift Planet
- Shop Together
The first Gift Planet is the Disney Shop.
You can buy commemorative merchandise for the Toy Story Hotel at the store.
The second, Shop Together, is like the convenience stores you see everywhere in Japan.
It was very convenient to buy food, alcohol, and baby goods.
Now let’s take a closer look at each of these stores!
Gift Planet at Toy Story Hotel
Currently, Gift Planet is available by advance reservation only.
The reservation process will be explained in detail later.
Before entering the store, I had to show my reservation screen and proof that I was a guest at the Toy Story Hotel.
The Toy Story Hotel items are for guests only, so they are carefully checking to see if you are a guest or not.
The store was not very large, but it had a good selection of goods related to Toy Story and the hotel.
Most of the items are exclusive to the hotel, but some sweets are also available at the park.
Note that there is a purchasing rule that only one item can be purchased per person.
I bought cookies in a tin with a Toy Story Hotel design.
They were made by a Japanese candy maker, and they tasted great!
I saw many guests in the hotel wearing Toy Story Hotel hoodies.
I would have bought a hoodie if they had children’s sizes, but they only had adult sizes.
How to make a reservation at Gift Planet
Beginning June 27, Gift Planet advance entry will no longer be required for the following time slots.
- 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
- 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Note: For overnight guests only.
Gift Planet at the Toy Story Hotel requires a reservation before visiting the store.
- Where? : Advance Shop Entry Reservation Service
- When? From 11:00 a.m. 5 days prior to your visit
- Who?: Hotel guests only
Gift Planet allows one reservation per night.
Unlike restaurant reservations, I was able to book my visit relatively smoothly.
Shop Together at Toy Story Hotel
The Shop Together at the Toy Story Hotel is what we call a convenience store.
In this store, you will find food, alcohol, hygiene products, and other necessities.
You can buy alcohol and soft drinks at Shop Together, as the refrigerators in the rooms do not contain anything.
Souvenir Medals at Toy Story Hotel
Medal machines can be found everywhere in Tokyo Disney Resort.
Toy Story Hotel also had one.
I recommend the medals as they are a great way to remember your stay.
It is also nice that they are 100 yen each.
I even found a medal that could only be made at the Toy Story Hotel!
You can decide on the letters you want and type them in.
The medal typer is the first of its kind at Tokyo Disney Resort.
The medal typer costs 500 yen per time, but it was very popular and we waited for about 40 minutes.
It would be a good souvenir if you engrave the date of your stay on the medal.
Summary
I introduced the stores at the Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel.
Gift Planet was so adorable with the toy world inside the store as well.
The hairband with the Pixar ball design was cute and I would like to get one next time.
