Stay at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel in a Superior Alcove Room

The Tokyo Disneyland Hotel is famous for its Beauty and the Beast rooms, but there are other great guest rooms as well.

I stayed in an Alcove Room, one of the features of the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel, and would like to share my review with you.

What is Tokyo Disneyland Hotel?

Tokyo Disneyland Hotel is one of the Disney-owned hotels in Japan.

The hotel is very conveniently located right in front of Tokyo Disneyland.

The Disneyland Hotel is also a beautiful Victorian building and a famous photo spot.

Tokyo Disneyland Hotel Room Types

Tokyo Disneyland Hotel has the largest number of guest rooms of all the Disney hotels.

Character rooms and family rooms are also a feature of the Disneyland Hotel.

This time I stayed in a Standard Superior Alcove Room, so let’s take a closer look!

Superior Alcove Room at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel

There are two types of Superior Alcove Rooms at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel: Standard and Concierge.

The room introduced here is a standard 4-person capacity room.

A unique feature of the “Alcove Room” is that the hole created by the recessed wall can be used as a bed.

Comparing alcove beds and trundle beds, trundle beds are a bit wider.

If you sleep in an alcove bed, you may prefer a small person or child.

Amenities in Standard Rooms

Standard Room amenities at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel are as follows.

A tea set for making coffee or Japanese tea is also available.

I forgot to take a picture, but there were also pajamas and mineral water.

The Standard Superior Alcove Room I stayed in this time was a room without a designated view.

So I did not expect much, but I could see a lovely garden.

I once stayed in a park view room at the Disneyland Hotel, where I could see Space Mountain and Cinderella Castle.

The Disneyland Hotel does not have a view of the park like the MiraCosta, so you may feel that the park view is not enough.

Every Disney hotel has its own merits, so you might want to decide based on your budget and what you want to do.

How to make reservations at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel

Reservations at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel are not so fierce.

Because of the large number of rooms, it is often possible to make reservations even on holidays and national holidays.

Rooms without a designated view, such as the one I stayed in this time, are actually often left until the last minute.
