If there is one attraction that makes you want to ride in summer, it is Splash Mountain.
Tokyo Disneyland’s Splash Mountain will be in a summer version for a limited time.
Today, I would like to share with you the summer version of Splash Mountain, “Get Wet MAX”.
What is Splash Mountain?
Splash Mountain is a roller coaster located in Tokyo Disneyland’s Critter Country.
The attraction is themed in the Disney movie “Song of the South”.
At first, the ride moves so slowly that it is hard to believe it is a roller coaster while looking at the adorable characters.
However, at the climax of the attraction, the ride plunges into a waterfall basin.
After falling down the waterfall, the characters sing “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah” in a jaunty manner.
Location of Splash Mountain
Splash Mountain is located in Tokyo Disneyland’s Critter Country.
Critter Country is the area at the far end of the park.
With the Haunted Mansion in Fantasyland on your right, walk up the hill and you will see the entrance to the attraction.
Splash Mountain’s “Get Wet MAX”
Splash Mountain is essentially an attraction that splashes water.
However, at Tokyo Disneyland’s Splash Mountain, you only get a slight splash on your face.
If you put a handkerchief over your head or bend down just before the waterfall, you may be able to avoid getting wet at all.
But the summer version of “Get Wet MAX” involves a large amount of water being splashed on guests.
If you don’t like getting wet, you might want to bring a raincoat!
Although, since it is summer, it may dry out quickly, lol.
If you really don’t want to get wet, you can request a seat at the very back.
The summer version of Splash Mountain, “Get Wet MAX,” runs from July 1 through August 31.

By the way, I heard that the right side of the front row will get the wettest (lol).
