Tokyo Disney Sea is the only theme park in the world that focuses on the sea. You’ll find many ships there, but the biggest among them all is S.S.Columbia. You can board this gorgeous cruise ship and dine at the first-class cabin! I want to share S.S.Columbia Dining Room in this post.
S.S.Columbia Dining Room
S.S.Columbia Dining Room is in American Waterfront. The story of S.S.Columbia dates back to the early 20th century. A party is about to begin as the world’s newest and finest luxury liner, the S.S.Columbia is about to set sail. In this story, you can join the party as a first-class passenger.
The entrance of the restaurant is on the 3rd floor(B Deck).
Food Review
I ordered Sheff’s Recommendation Set and Little Captain’s Set(a set for under 12-year-old child).
Little Captain’s Set
- Corn chowder
- Grilled beef, fried shrimp, sausage, ketchup rice, and hot vegetables
- Potato Salad
- Strawberry Sundae
- Soft drinks (Choice from orange juice, apple juice, or milk)
It’s a palatial menu that doesn’t look like it’s for kids. The volume is enough for a woman with a usual appetite. The grilled beef was like a steak. The fried shrimp had a crispy batter and was delicious. The dessert also came out in a generous portion that didn’t seem like a set.
Sheff’s Recommendation Set
- Smoked salmon and Risoni in gateau form

- Mixed Berry Cake with Cassis Mousse and Marron Verine
Choice of Main Dish
- Roast beef with balsamic and onion sauce
- Sauteed amberjack with white wine sauce
- Oven-Baked Roast Beef and Lobster(Balsamic Onion Sauce with Mushroom and Olive Cream Sauce)
- 1 lb. sirloin steak with balsamic and onion sauce
I selected Oven-Baked Roast Beef and Lobster($42), and my husband chose Roast beef with balsamic and onion sauce(120g, $35).
Smoked salmon and Risoni looked like a desert. But the cream in front of it was made of wasabi and was a little bit spicy. There were two pieces of bread, one of them was fluffy with Mickey’s markings.
You can select the volume of Roast Beef from 120 or 240 grams. My husband chose 120g, but the amount was enough for him (his appetite is definitely not small). The sauce that came with the roast beef was delicious. The roast beef is also served with salt so that you can enjoy two tastes.
The above is my dish, “Oven-Baked Roast Beef and Lobster.” The lobster was plump, and the sauce was also excellent. The roast vegetables on the side were delicious!
I was full after the main dish, but I also had dessert. There were two kinds of desserts. I had cassis mousse and marron verine with a different sauce, and it was delicious. The sauce was alcohol-infused and was an adult dessert. The mixed berry cake was also delicious.
View from the deck
The view from the deck, which is on the same floor as the restaurant, is fantastic. You can see the entire Mediterranean Harbor. I went both during the day and at night, and both views were excellent. Unlike in the city, you can observe stars at Tokyo Disney Sea. You can also see the city of Tokyo far away. The place is so romantic, and it is a beautiful photo spot.
How to make reservations
S.S.Columbia Dining Room offers a priority seating system. I recommend making a reservation. From 10 AM one month in advance to 9 PM the day before, you can make a reservation from the official site. Same day reservation starts from 9 AM at the official site, or 10 AM at the restaurant.
Conclusion
I had an authentic course meal in a gorgeous atmosphere. This restaurant is suitable for anniversaries and celebrations. My daughter was happy to be on the ship (although the boat was at anchor).
Tokyo Disney Sea has another place to enjoy good food and views. Ristorante di Canaletto located in Mediterranean Harbor, is also recommended. Both restaurants are popular and must be booked before visit, but the food is excellent and worth a try.
