There are five Disney-owned hotels in Tokyo Disney Resort.
Among them, the following three deluxe-type hotels have swimming pools.
- Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta
- Tokyo Disneyland Hotel
- Disney Ambassador Hotel
This time, I visited the pool at the Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta, and here is my review of it.

Pools at Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta
Terme Venezia is a swimming pool at Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta.
It is a facility that only guests staying at the hotel are allowed to enter.
In addition to the pool, Terme Venezia also has a spa.
You can enjoy both indoor and outdoor pools.
Hotel MiraCosta is the only Disney hotel with an indoor pool.
Location of the pool at Hotel MiraCosta
Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta has three areas.
- Porto Paradiso Side
- Tuscany Side
- Venice Side
MiraCosta’s pool, Terme Venezia, as its name suggests, is located on the Venice side.
Pass by the front desk of the hotel and head toward the Venice side.
You will then see a sign that reads “South Elevator”.
The pool is on the first floor of MiraCosta, and you’ll take the South elevator down.
As soon as you get off the elevator, you will see the sign for Terme Venezia.
Review of the pool at Hotel MiraCosta
Let’s start with a review of the pool at Hotel MiraCosta.
After registering at the reception, you will go to the locker room.
In front of the locker room, take off your shoes.
The locker you use will be designated in advance and you will be given a key.
At the reception desk, you will receive a locker key and towel.
You will be given two towels, a bath towel, and a face towel.
After changing into swimsuits, it’s time to go to the pool!
The indoor pool is designed in the image of an ancient Roman bathhouse.
There are four pools, large and small, with depths ranging from 60 cm to 120 cm.
The shallowest pool is 60 cm deep, making it an excellent place for children to play in the water.
The pool in the photo’s foreground is a Jacuzzi for a relaxing time.
Then take a look at the outdoor pool!
The outdoor pool is inspired by an Italian resort.
The spacious pool in the foreground is 120 cm deep.
For guests who want a decent swim, the outdoor pool is the place to be.
Oops, I forgot, this is inside Tokyo DisneySea.
So there is a Mickey & Friends statue and fountain in the pool at the back of the picture.
If it were not for this Mickey statue, I would forget that we are in a Disney park in Japan (lol).
That’s how resort-like the pool is.
And after you’re done playing in the pool, you can use the shower rooms!
There is also a sauna and spa.
Guests who visit without entering the pool can use the spa and sauna, too.
When the park used to have water splashing events, the showers and spa available before check-in were very useful.
There is also a washbasin in the locker room.
Mineral water at the washbasin is free of charge.
There is also a hair dryer so you can dry your wet hair and go.
In addition, there is a dehydrator for bathing suits.
This dehydrator performs quite well, and the water in my swimsuit was well drained.

Reservations for the pool at Hotel MiraCosta
The pool at Hotel MiraCosta does not require reservations.
To use the pool, you must go directly to the pool reception.
Please note that you cannot register for the pool at the Welcome Center located at JR Maihama Station or at the front desk of the hotel.
I went on a holiday and the pool was not crowded enough to limit admission.
However, the pool became crowded around check-in time (3:00 PM).
The best time to visit the pool is in the morning because it is not so crowded before noon.

Pool Bar at Hotel MiraCosta
Hotel MiraCosta’s pool, Terme Venezia, has a bar!
Hippocampi, the pool bar, is where you can buy alcohol, soft drinks, and potato chips.
It is great to be able to drink beer and eat potato chips by the pool.
You can also get free mineral water at Hippocampi.
Summary
I introduced Terme Venezia, the pool at Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta.
It is a pool that is not very Disney-like, so you may forget that you are in Tokyo DisneySea.
Sometimes it is nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the park and feel luxurious!
