Review of the Hilton Tokyo Bay at Tokyo Disney Resort Part 2

Continuing from the previous article, here is a review of my stay at the Hilton Tokyo Bay in Tokyo Disney Resort.

If you haven’t read it yet, please visit the following URL.

The View from a Hilton Room

Fantasy Springs as seen from the Hilton room

If you’re staying at the Hilton Tokyo Bay, you’ll want to know about the view from your room.

Hilton Tokyo Bay is a hotel facing Tokyo Bay.

In general, you would think that rooms on the ocean side would be more popular in a resort hotel facing the ocean.

At the Hilton Tokyo Bay in the Tokyo Disney Resort, rooms on the Park-side tend to be preferred.

The room I stayed in had a park view, but I couldn’t see Cinderella Castle, the symbol of the park.

Instead, I could see Fantasy Springs, a new area under construction in Tokyo DisneySea, right in front of me.

If you look to the right, you can also see the Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel under construction.

From the Park View rooms, you can also see the fireworks “Disney Lights the Night”.

You can hear the fireworks, but there is no background music like when you are in the park.

The fireworks you see from your room may not be as exciting, but they are gorgeous to watch.

On the other hand, the rooms on the ocean side do not have the best night view, but you can look at the ocean when you wake up.

This is a good choice for those who want to greet the morning in a refreshing mood.

Stores in Hilton Tokyo Bay

Among the official hotels of Tokyo Disney Resort, the Hilton Tokyo Bay has the largest number of stores in the hotel.

Unfortunately, Starbucks Coffee closed in 2012, and the following four stores are now recommended.

Disney Fantasy

Disney Fantasy at Hilton Tokyo Bay (official website)

At Disney Fantasy, you can buy goods sold at the Tokyo Disney Resort.

If your priority is to spend time enjoying the attractions and shows at the parks, the stores in the hotel are sufficient for shopping.

Disney Fantasy doesn’t have a lot of space, but they do carry a wide range of regular items.

My family wants to enjoy all the attractions and shows at the park, so we tend to buy souvenirs at Disney Fantasy.

Lawson (convenience store)

The Hilton Tokyo Bay is the only one of the official hotels that have a convenience store.

Lawson is a major convenience store in Japan and can be found throughout the country.

Even though the Lawson at the Hilton Tokyo Bay is located in a hotel, it has a wide selection of products just like a convenience store you would find in the city.

There are baby products and groceries, and you can get what you need 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Segafredo Zanetti Espresso (Italian bar)

The Hilton Tokyo Bay also has an Italian bar.

Segafredo Zanetti, from Bologna, offers espresso and latte.

When I went to the bar, it was closed for a short time to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, but it is usually open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The recommended menu is Panini, which you can take out and have breakfast in your guest room.

Fresh Connection ( Hotel’s takeout deli)

At Fresh Connection, you can buy delicatessen meals, bread and cakes made at the hotel.

You can even call and order what you want to eat and have it delivered to your room.

When I went to Fresh Connection, they had changed their hours due to the coronavirus, but they are usually open from 7 am to 11 pm.

They also serve alcohol.

Kids Corner at Hilton Tokyo Bay

The Hilton Tokyo Bay has a space for small children to play.

There are TVs showing Disney programs and toys on the walls for children to play with.

While I was paying at the front desk, my daughter was happily playing in the kids’ corner.

Baggage Service at Hilton Tokyo Bay

Official hotels and Disney hotels, including the Hilton Tokyo Bay, offer a free luggage delivery service within the Disney Resort.

Our family moved to MiraCosta after the Hilton, so we used the baggage delivery service.

It was quite helpful to have our suitcases carried for free.

Benefits of becoming a Hilton Honors member

Before staying at the Hilton Tokyo Bay, you can benefit from signing up for Hilton Honors (free of charge).

Benefits of Hilton Honors
  • Reduced room rates
  • Points accumulation
  • Free Wi-Fi access

At the Hilton Tokyo Bay, Wi-Fi access is available in all guest rooms, but usually for a fee.

If you’re at the Hilton Honors, you can use the Wi-Fi for free.

The Hilton Honors credit card has an annual fee but offers additional benefits.

Summary

I introduced a review of the Hilton Tokyo Bay.

There are six official hotels at Tokyo Disney Resort, and Hilton Tokyo Bay holds a high standard among them.

We stayed at the Hilton as part of our visit to Tokyo Disneyland, but I felt that many guests came here simply to enjoy the hotel life.

The Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel will be opening soon next to the Hilton Tokyo Bay.

It’s not easy to book a room at the Toy Story Hotel, but if I do get to stay there, I’ll post a review!

Thanks for reading to the end.
