A mobile ordering service for restaurant food has been launched at Tokyo Disney Resort!
In this article, I will delve into the details of the “Disney Mobile Order” service.
What is “Disney Mobile Order”?
“Disney Mobile Order” is a service that allows guests to order food from restaurants in the parks via an app.
The following restaurants are eligible for this service.
- Plazma Ray’s Diner at Tomorrowland
- Grandma Sara’s Kitchen at Clitter Country
At this time, the service is available at two restaurants at Tokyo Disneyland.
Plasma Ray’s Diner not so much, but Granma Sara’s Kitchen makes you wait quite a while before your food is served, so mobile ordering could be used.
- Yucatan Base Camp Grill at Lost River Delta
- Casbah Food Court at Arabian Coast
“Disney Mobile Order” is also available at two restaurants at Tokyo DisneySea.
Both restaurants have large capacities, so this service may save you time.
How to Use Disney Mobile Order
Here is how to use the Disney Mobile Order.
First, you will need to download the official Tokyo Disney Resort App and register an account.
Step 1: Preparation
Next, open the App and tap “Disney Mobile Order” under “My Plan” on the Tokyo Disney Resort App.
Step 2: Select restaurant
Tap the restaurant of your choice.
The selections that are not available will be displayed as “Unavailable.”
Step 3: Select time
Select your arrival time by tapping the time available.
The selections that are not available will be displayed as “Not Available” or “Out of Stock.”
Time slots are every 30 minutes.
Step 4: Select menu item
Select the menu item and quantity, and tap “Add to Cart.”
Step 5: Check details
Check arrival time and order details, payment method, and all other entries, and tap “Place Order.”
Credit, debit, and prepaid cards are accepted.
These are the steps for mobile ordering of food from eligible restaurants.
Then, here’s how to receive the food you ordered.
Step 1: Receive notification
At the arrival time of your order, you will be notified via push notifications. Please go to the restaurant.
Step 2: Tap “I’m Here” after arriving at the restaurant
After tapping this button, your order will be processed by credit card payment. You will not be able to cancel your order after this point.
Step 3: Receive push notification and pick up your order
Once your order is ready, a counter number of your order will be displayed on the App.
Go to the counter, present the screen on the App displaying the pick-up number, and pick up your order.
This is the process of receiving your food.
It is similar to Starbucks Coffee or McDonald’s, so some of you may be familiar with it or have some idea what it is.

Notes on using Disney Mobile Order
#1 You can only place a Disney Mobile Order during restaurant hours.
If you enter the park at 9:00 a.m., but the restaurant starts at 11:00 a.m., you cannot order until 11:00 a.m.
We all like to plan ahead, but it doesn’t work that way.
#2 You can order food in advance, but where you eat is not a commitment.
This means we need to save seats before we receive our food.
If we avoid peak hours on busy days, we should be fine, but we don’t want to receive our food and then have no place to eat it.
#3 Free drinks for vacation packages are not subject to mobile ordering.
Vacation Package includes an all-you-can-drink ticket, but you have to wait in line at the cashier to take advantage of this.
However, if we can quickly find a table and the food comes out quickly, it is certainly convenient service.
