There are so many restaurants at Tokyo Disney Resort that even a repeat guest like myself has a hard time deciding where to eat every time.
The last time I stayed at the Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta, I used the buffet-style restaurant.
Buffet style is a good way to eat a variety of dishes at one time, isn’t it?
This time, I would like to share Oceano, a buffet-style restaurant at Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta.
Oceano at Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta
As mentioned at the beginning of this article, Oceano is a restaurant located in the Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta.
At this restaurant, you can choose to eat a buffet or a course meal.
In this article, I’ll tell you more about the buffet at Oceano’s.
Location of Oceano
Oceano is located on the second floor of Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta.
It’s next door to Silk Road Garden, the Chinese restaurant I introduced in a previous article.
Oceano’s Menu and Prices
Oceano is a Mediterranean restaurant.
The menu is mostly seafood-based, but there are also meat dishes that are very tasty.
Lunch and dinner dishes are almost the same.
The dinner menu is slightly more luxurious, with beef being the meat dish.
Buffet prices are shown in the table below.

I expect not only better prices but also the upgraded quality of food.
Birthdays at Oceano
You can celebrate your loved one’s birthday at Oceano at Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta.
The Celebration Set is a plan to celebrate anniversaries.
- Price: 6,000 yen
- Plan Details: Original item, Original Cake, Original Photo Frame
- A photo taken by a Cast Member will be inserted.
- Reservations: Orders are accepted on the website up to 8:59 p.m. (JST) two days before the dining date.
The message to be put on the cake plate can be chosen from the options, depending on the occasion.
Since a whole-size cake is included, I recommend that desserts at the buffet be kept to a moderate portion (lol).
I once had a celebration set up for my birthday and it was a great memory.
However, the original item is like a jewelry box, so this plan might be more for women.
Reservations for Oceano
Reservations are required for Oceano at Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta.
- Reservation Period: From the time the reservation is made to 60 minutes prior to the restaurant visit on the day of the visit (reservation can be made until 20:59 on the previous day).
- Place: Online Reservations & Tickets
Reservation slots for Disney Hotel guests and non-guests are different.
- Reservation Period: 10:00 on the same day 3 months prior to the restaurant visit date – 60 minutes prior to the restaurant visit time on the day of visit

Same-day reservations at Oceano
For Disney Hotel restaurants, there are no same-day slots.
As mentioned in the section above, you can always make reservations up to one hour in advance if there is availability.
Oceano is a popular restaurant and reservations fill up quickly, but there is still a chance even at the last minute on the day of the event.
The key to success is to check Online Reservations & Tickets frequently, as the number of slots available for reservation can suddenly increase.
Watching the show from Oceano
Since Oceano is located in MiraCosta, you may be wondering if you can watch the Harbor Show from inside the restaurant.
The answer is yes.
You can stay at Oceano for 120 minutes.
This means that if a show is scheduled during your stay, you can watch the show from the terrace.
Since it is a buffet, you will be full after an hour of eating.
So you can thoroughly enjoy the 30-minute show.
However, the view of the Harbor Show from the terrace for buffet guests is not so good.
The terrace fence is high and there are speakers just in your line of sight, so in some cases, you can’t see it at all.
Also scheduled for November is “Believe Sea of Dreams,” a harbor show and projection mapping.
The terrace for buffet users is facing Piazza Topolino, so it would be difficult to see the Harbor Show.
When I saw “Fantasmic!” from the terrace before, it was first come, first served.
I went a little late because I was in the middle of a meal, and there were only places left that were hard to see.
Even if you have a reservation at a restaurant to see the show, the show may be canceled due to weather conditions.
You cannot see the show from inside Oceano, even if you are near a window.
If you want to be sure of watching the show, you should stay in the park.
