Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel Review Part 2

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, Standard Room, Bed

I have just stayed at the Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, which just opened on April 5, 2022.

This article is part 2 of a review.

In Part 1, I introduced Slinky Dog Park, the lobby, and more.

Today I’m going to show you Andy’s room (guest room).

Standard Room Bay View of Toy Story Hotel

This time, I was able to reserve a standard room with a bay view after a struggle.

If you are not familiar with the types of rooms at the Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, please read my previous article.

At first, I wanted a square view room to see the courtyard, but I couldn’t get a reservation because of its popularity.

I was hoping there would be a cancellation, but there was none at all.

But as it turns out, I was right to choose the bay view room!

Now, let me show you around the room.

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, 9th floor wall

This time we stayed in a standard room (bay view) on the 9th floor.

The room key is a simple design.

The first thing that surprised me was how spacious the room was.

I thought it would be small, being only 27 square meters, but it felt very spacious and open!

There is also plenty of room to open my suitcase.

The wallpaper with the sky and cloud pattern was the same as Andy’s room and my excitement was maxed out.

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, standard room, electric lamp, TV, wall clock

Oh, and the red desk lamp! This is a must-see for Pixar fans.

There was also a Mickey wall clock and a TV with an Etch-a-Sketch design.

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, standard rooms, wall hooks and hangers

The guest room did not have a closet but instead had wall hooks.

The hooks were studs and were made with great attention to detail.

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, standard room, desk and chair

There is no sofa in the guest room, but there was a table and chair for one person.

One chair might be a bit inconvenient when staying with a family or group.

Next, let’s take a look at the bathroom.

The wallpaper in the bathroom was a jigsaw puzzle design.

Towels were well provided.

Weezy is in the bathroom and keeps us entertained while we bathe.

The shampoo is a dispenser type.

I don’t mind, but if you have a favorite shampoo, you might want to bring it.

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, standard room, bathroom, washing area

Like a bath in a Japanese home, it is equipped with a washing area.

Japanese people are relieved when there is a washing area, after all.

You can find washrooms in other Disney hotels, too.

Standard Room Equipment at the Toy Story Hotel

Next, I would like to introduce you to the equipment in the standard rooms.

There are reading lights and electrical outlets around the beds.

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, standard room, trundle bed, electrical outlet

I think there are the most outlets in the Disney hotel.

With this many outlets, you will have no trouble charging your devices.

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, standard room, refrigerator

There is a refrigerator under the TV cabinet.

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, Standard Room, Pot, Pitcher

Pots and pitchers are also provided.

Water servers are located on each floor, and drinking water is free if you bring a pitcher from your room.

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, standard room, coffee, tea

You can also make instant coffee in your room.

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, Standard Room, Bathroom, Children's Step Stool

There was a step stool in the bathroom for children.

The step stools are placed with or without children.

Free wifi was also available in the hotel!

Standard Room Amenities at the Toy Story Hotel

Here are the amenities of the Toy Story Hotel.

The amenity I was most pleased with was the slippers.

They have “Andy” written on the soles!

So with the slippers on, we are now Andy’s toys.

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, standard room, memo pad, postcard

On the desk were memo pads and postcards.

You can take the postcard home as a souvenir.

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, standard room, pajamas, Buzz Lightyear

I found a pair of Buzz Lightyear-inspired pajamas in the drawer!

If we put these on, we will feel like Buzz lol.

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, Standard Room, Amenities

The bathrooms were set up with toothbrushes and brushes.

Razors are not available in the guest rooms and must be obtained at the guest services counter.

Children’s amenities other than step stools can be picked up at the Guest Services Counter.

Kids Amenity
  • Pajamas (S-L size)
  • Slippers
  • Toothbrush

We are happy that Disney hotels treat children as their guests.

Bay View at Toy Story Hotel

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, Standard Room, Bay View

The room we stayed in had a view of Tokyo Bay.

I forgot to take pictures of the night view, but I could see Tokyo Tower glowing in the distance at night.

It was a very beautiful night view.

Initially, we wanted a square view, but we chose a bay view and are glad we did as a result.

In the morning, I could drink coffee while looking at the ocean, and it was a great feeling.

Price of a standard room (bay view)

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, standard rooms

We stayed in a standard room (bay view) and the price was 35,000 yen.

I think the cost of staying at the Toy Story Hotel is a good value because of its proximity to the parks and the ability to use Disney hotel’s guest benefits.

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, Standard Room, Bed

Incidentally, Bay View rates range from 27,000 yen to 42,500 yen from April to June.

Compared to Tokyo Disneyland Hotel and MiraCosta, this is by far the lowest price to stay.

In part 3, I would like to introduce the restaurant at the Toy Story Hotel.

Thanks for reading to the end!
